The CAV-MAX system is a bolt in system for Citizen CAV12-LS-IS auger type bar feeders that increases the maximum capacity of the bar feeder while maintaining factory performance and full function of bar feeder door with interlock.This allows for increased operator efficiency as well as increased capacity for lights out production.
In the case of Ø3/8" round bar the CAV-MAX system increases bar capacity from the standard 12 bar capacity to 43 bars providing extremely aggressive return on your investment in CAV-MAX.
This system is compatible with round bar between Ø5/16" thru Ø7/16".
Initial installation typically takes around 1 hour, CAV-MAX system can be removed for small diameter jobs or adjusted for a new diameter job in just minutes with only the use of 2 Allen wrenches.
This system has even been proven to correctly feed mill run quality 6061 extruded round bar.
System includes:
7 powder-coated main plates with machined adjustment blocks, 8 formed material stops, 1 formed end stop and all required hardware to install system.
